I love colour, especially bright vivid colours. They do something to the heart; they cheer me up and lift my spirits. This summer, on one of our ’staycation’ days, we visited Hampton Court Palace. What a fabulous place! And the gardens – they took my breath away! I don’t think any photograph of the palace can do it justice. Here are a few of my photos of the day in my attempt to capture some of the beauty of the place. I have included a photo of my little girl who LOVES the colour yellow. She ran without a moment’s hesitation towards the yellow flowers for a photo, clutching the family cat (yes, it’s a toy cat). I am amazed at what the colours of nature can do to ones countenance, and even more amazed that it always points me to the Creator.
