Learning to use my 50mm lens (part 2): Practising on my children again

More photos of my children using this lens. These practice photos may make you think my kids are super-obliging and like posing in front of the camera whenever I ask them to. The reality is that I get through so many shots before I capture a decent one where they are at least not blurry, or running away or turning their backs, or running towards me getting so close to the lens I only manage to get a fraction of their hair! For the last two photos on this page, I set the camera’s ISO to 800 and noise is pretty visible. This result is a little disappointing; there was enough available light for a lower ISO.
