Photography workshop with me | London Portrait Photographer

After having been asked a few times if I’d ever consider doing a workshop, I’ve finally decided I will do one this year. If you are a photography enthusiast, this workshop is for you. If you are a Mum or a Dad who wants to take better photos of your kiddies, especially over the summer holiday, this workshop is for you. If you belong to either of these categories, read on….details below after a few images from a couple of recent shoots…

Light, Inspiration, Composition and the Eye

The workshop will cover:
Learning good composition {the rules, and how to break the rules}
Discovering your eye and finding inspiration {even in the most ordinary of locations}
Shooting in non-automatic modes {including learning the basics of shooting in manual mode}
Let’s talk about LIGHT!

You must bring your own camera; all types of digital cameras are welcome (point and shoot and dSLRs).
This will be a fun interactive workshop which aims to give you a more ‘critical’ eye at the end.

The afternoon will be divided into 4 parts:

*Mini-workshops and discussions
*Shooting and shooting and more shooting!
*Critique
*Q & A

There will be a child model and some other interesting set-ups.

Handouts, notes and light refreshments will be provided.

If you know me personally, I used to be a lecturer, but my lecturing style is never a ‘sit down listen to me for an hour’ but always an interactive and involved session that helps you learn by doing. So expect a packed session with plenty of activity and information and also ample time to ask me questions.

Date: Sunday 12th June
Time: 2-530pm
Place: West Ham Park E15 {meet by the bandstand}

£50 per person

Maximum 8 people only {workshop will be cancelled if less than 4 people book}
