When neighbours gather together with flowers freshly picked from their own gardens and make a beautiful arch on the bride’s doorstep – a gesture that speaks love, care and community especially in a big and bustling city such as London – it could only mean one thing: the bride must be a pretty special girl. And she really is. In fact, the bride and groom are a dream pair.
When I first met N & C for their engagement session at the Shard, they struck me as two very selfless and caring individuals who put other people’s need above themselves. They are so easy to be with; making people feel at ease is just one of the many things they are brilliant at. Imagine how much impact their marriage would bring to their friends and family and all the lives they touch.
Congratulations N & C! I feel deeply privileged to have met you and your wonderful families and friends. Thank you for the honour of photographing your special day. A huge thanks too to my fab second-shooter Esther Bissessar, to the very helpful staff at Paternoster Chophouse where the reception took place, and to the wonderful Helen Edwards of The Velvet Daisy for the stunning bouquets. The wedding was held at N & C’s home church – the excellent ChristChurch Mayfair in the heart of West London.
