Bagden Hall West Yorkshire Dales Classic Romantic English Wedding: Matt and Suzie

They explored the stunning grounds and came across an old small cottage next to a little lake. It was called The Folly back in 1706 and was used as a servant’s house. There and then they decided it was to be the backdrop of their wedding portraits. A few weeks ago I blogged Matt and Suzie’s I heart London engagement session in Regent’s Park and wrote about these very unassuming two young doctors whose vision and heart is to serve people especially those in need. Now Matt and Suzie have embarked on a new life journey, that of husband and wife, and exchanged their vows at Kirkheaton Parish Church in the village where Suzie grew up. Two best friends who have known each other for a long time, through medical school and life’s many challenges and adventures, vowed to love and to hold forever. It was one ceremony that will stay with me for a long time to come – full of genuine and sincere love for God and each other in the presence of family who came from near and far. In the heart of the idyllic Yorkshire Dales nestling in 40 acres of land is the stunning 18th century country house Bagden Hall where they celebrated their wedding reception and where the Folly stood quietly, dignified, next to a peaceful lake, across the garden from the imposing country house.
