Definitely one of the most memorable weddings I have ever photographed. The most unique, funniest, most touching, impassioned groom speech ever complete with some impressive rapping. One of the sweetest modern day love stories. Two of the loveliest people on this planet. Rachel and Ade’s London city wedding at St. Helen’s Bishopsgate was unforgettable. Not a single soul came out of their wedding afternoon reception not having laughed so much, cried a little, and most of all been deeply touched by the overwhelming warmth, love and sheer joy that marked the day. It wasn’t just the marriage of two special people but the honouring and merging of cultures. A celebration of oneness as family, friends and loved ones. The heavens smiled upon us with gorgeous warm autumn weather and the softest golden light on the great river Thames for the short portrait session on the way to St. Nicholas Cole Abbey {The Wren Coffee} . Dreamy, romantic light. Soulful wedding. Perfect. And as if that wasn’t perfect enough, add on the stunning bride’s bouquet by the fabulous The Flower Appreciation Society – definitely one of my favourite bridal bouquets of all time.
Let me share with you the highlights of Rachel and Ade’s amazing day, their London city wedding: awesome and as heartfelt as a wedding can possibly be. Congratulations Rachel and Ade!
