It’s the middle of winter and is as wet and grey as can be, the only consolation being the mildness of it. So here’s a little interlude from session-blogging…Remembering days in the sun and sharing with you some of our summer holiday travel photos. We went to Brittany last summer by ferry {an experience that we probably would not want to repeat} and stayed in a self-catering gîte in the middle of nowhere. Away from city lights so we could see the myriad stars in the darkest sky. Away from internet, wifi and phone reception. Total withdrawal. We didn’t have a TV in the cottage and not even a clock. We went by the ringing of the local church bells for time. Photos shown on the blog were taken in Morlaix, Huelgoat and Lac du Drennec. More tomorrow!
