Remember Tchern and Sarah and their super romantic engagement photoshoot in Trent Park and Kings Cross? Well, their wedding in St. Mark’s Clerkenwell, London was far more romantic than they had imagined especially since it was a real community affair. Sarah did her bridesmaids’ hair, Tchern took on the wedding planning job and made the cake, Tchern’s lovely Mum all the way from Singapore is a florist and did all the flowers – from the bouquet and buttonholes to the church and table arrangements in gorgeous purple and white orchids, blush roses and baby’s breath, Tchern’s Dad cooked some unbelievably tasty curry to add to the many mouth-watering dishes friends and family brought, and some special friends – the talented designer Amy Sia and Andrew Stephenson made the most amazing buntings using fabrics from Northcott that transformed St. Mark’s Church Clerkenwell!
The entire day was very relaxed and stress-free – a reflection of the couple no doubt. The day coincided with the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations which was on TV and we even saw the flypast and caught the end of it from Sarah’s balcony! Tchern busied himself at the church greeting guests with great warmth and plenty of smiles and laughter – it’s what you get without fail when with Tchern. A truly joyous occasion celebrated in generosity of love, faith, commitment and community.
Congratulations Tchern and Sarah – it was a real honour to photograph your day! Here are some highlights from your awesome wedding day.
