The ancient bells of the beautiful 1000 year old Parish of St John the Baptist in Little Missenden rang loud in joyous celebration of the wedding of Christine and Jason.
The day started at C’s house where she was getting ready. She met me at the door, a cup of tea in hand and a huge smile on her face. Happy, relaxed and peaceful, and no sign of wedding frenzy. {full set of getting ready photos here}
The guys on the other hand…well a flurry of activity and plenty of hilarious gags. You can see for yourself here…
Inside this ancient church of Roman bricks, Norman arches, Crusaders crosses, Saxon windows, Medieval floor tiles and 13th century wall paintings, the ceremony was solemn and meaningful and the sermon for C & J was relevant to this contemporary time. {full set of church ceremony photos here}
C & J – they are pros in front of the camera… {Full set of portraits here}
and are also both accomplished performers in plays and musicals…{full set of reception photos here}
…judging from their first dance, they simply are top of their class!
Congratulations Christine and Jason and I wish you many years of love and laughter in your marriage.
Heartfelt thanks go to my lovely assistant Lisa Warren, the wonderful staff at Gerrards Cross Golf Club, Christine’s amazing Mum for the beautiful floral displays.
