I met Catalina when she was a bridesmaid at J&L’s wedding last year. I remember her as a lovely girl who performed her bridesmaid’s duties so well I hardly even saw her; she was so busy making sure everything went perfectly for her best friend’s wedding. Since then we have been in touch via email and she strikes me as a very kind, loving and giving person.
What I did not know was that she is a super talented children’s author and illustrator. Her illustrations are insanely creative. And fun. Nothing short of amazing.
Her latest book There’s a Dinosaur in my Bathtub has had numerous reviews including The Times and won a place on the Book Depository’s Top 20, being one of only three children related books on the list. This book has also been translated to Slovene!
Catalina works as a freelance artist in London and is actively involved in art fairs. Her latest project is a display for Under the Greenwood Tree Children’s Bookshop.
Check out Catalina’s website and Facebook page and you’ll be in for a real treat.
My eldest child wants to be an author / illustrator. So I thought I’d get her Catalina’s books to inspire her. We are excited to have the books signed by Cata personally soon.
