Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park photoshoot of my kids: impromptu

A little break from work blogs… We went for a stroll at the outstanding Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park a couple of weeks ago and walked passed a patch of dry tall grass. Fortunately I had my camera with me and promptly proceeded to bribe my girls. Frankly, I can’t remember what I promised them in return for sitting and standing on the spot I pointed at {and they couldn’t remember either – phew!} but I took the perfect photo location opportunity with amazing light there and then.

Of course I got some outtakes {below} – it’s never simple with my kids when it comes to photos, but I was more than happy with the handful of photos above. I could not however get the boy to sit and pose…

…but never to give up, I got a couple of him happily sitting for me in his football kit waiting to go to football club. I was testing my lights in preparation for a studio photoshoot when he came down the stairs and so I asked him casually to sit for a few of minutes so I can “test” my lights. And voila, a few snap tests and a couple of minutes later I got my shots and off he ran quick as a flash {pun intended}.
