Opera in Stratford: St. John’s lunchtime concerts | London Portrait Photographer

No doubt one of my highlights this month was attending a lunchtime concert at St. John’s Church in Stratford to watch two school Mum friends – Christine Radjabou and Danielle Young with master pianist John Collis perform classic opera pieces. Mesmerising is an understatement. It was a magnificent performance and a special privilege to hear two local Mums who are professionally trained in Classical and Opera Music.

Christine trained in classical singing and drama and has performed in both France and London for many years. Danielle trained at the London College of Music and has extensively performed professionally around England in many different types of music, from pantomime to opera. John studied music at the University of Reading and has been teaching music for over fifteen years in the Isle of Wight and now London.
