Our weekend in Southend… Three little fidgets on the beach…

Digging holes, collecting shells, rolling in the sandy ditch…

Counting unfortunate jellyfish washed ashore… and those alive and well in the sea life centre…

Then we saw a pretty lion fish…

It startled Dave sitting pretty in the concave…

Now it’s time for more play and people-watching…

Admiring stunning views of the Thames estuary…

Snapping pics of beach and boats in Thorpe bay

and the iconic stripy deck chairs on Southend-on-sea…

And so we say goodbye to sunny Southend… until we visit again in the summer… but for now to everyone, hope you had a happy bank holiday weekend!
