Vintage farm wedding, bohemian style: Elly and Chris and top 12 steal-worthy ideas for your diy wedding

Planning a wedding is no mean feat…for anyone. But when you have two small children, holding down a job, running a household and planning a wedding at the same time, that’s taking it to a whole new level of super. Chris and Elly put on a DIY vintage – boho style wedding in a beautiful country setting in Lincolnshire.

On the forefront of their mind was to throw a big and child-friendly party for their friends. Their day kicked off with a sweet wedding ceremony in Bourne Corne Exchange followed by the most amazing bohemian vibe wedding at the farm run by the marvellous Groovy Foods Farm. A giant marquee, bell tents for friends staying the weekend, gazebos filled with inflatables and toys for the children, a bouncy castle and playbus, buntings aplenty, showstopper helium balloons and more.

The summer sun came out to play and an unforgettable day was had by all. There were soooo many steal-worthy ideas that Elly and Chris came up with which are well worth enumerating. Steal-worthy ideas for your DIY vintage boho wedding
