This wedding is a must-see; I have never seen a Mexican inspired wedding done so well. A & L’s love fiesta was one of a kind. Authentic Mexican buntings with intricately carved delicate designs such as Mexican folk lovebirds, hearts and words like Amor, Fiesta and even the couples’ names adorned the stunning Cripps Stone Barn in the Cotswolds. Various types of beautiful cacti complemented the table settings and the stunning multi-layered cake. A family style dinner was served complete with authentic condiments for a true Mexican taste. A & L surprised everyone with a Mariachi band serenading the guests while they all merrily enjoyed canapés and drinks.
There are so many details I loved at this wedding – groom and ushers’ printed bow ties and suspenders, bride’s flower headbands {she had two – ivory roses for the day and red velvet ones for the evening}, bridesmaids’ baby’s breath bouquets, big balloons with handmade tassels courtesy of the bride’s mum, show-stopping silver diamond pinata, colourful sombreros, genuine Land Rover decorated as the bridal car, to mention just a few….
Music performed by some of London’s well-known musicians and DJs sounded out of this world amazing. It was one hugely successful and unforgettable affair and words won’t do it justice. I hope these photos to some extent capture what an amazing it was. Here are some of the highlights selected from about 1700 pictures from the day. Without further ado, I present to you some memories of A & L’s Love Fiesta – a wedding to remember, a couple both so talented and successful and oh-so-perfect for each other.
And finally, a huge thank you to my fab second shooter Lisa Warren.
