There’s 12 days left before Christmas so get decking the halls if you haven’t yet… Here are the creative oh-so-simple easy and quick Christmas craft ideas I’ve collated over the past few weeks – all in one blog. Click the individual links to see more details.
Just find some Christmas-themed tags. Stick them on wooden pegs. Hand on a hook. Clip anything you like on the pegs like memos little presents, a verse or Scripture, etc.
Buttons, doily, card and gift-wrapping
Use doily or any printed paper. Cut up paper in flower shapes. Loop buttons through a string, Wrap around presents. Use labels or stamps for the names.
Make wreath or tree shapes using buttons. Stick with glue and finish with a nice bow.
Thread button through a wire. Make sure they are in different sizes starting with the widest diameter to the smallest. Twist wire at both ends.
Buy some fake snow or use cotton. Fine a nice old jar. Fill with snow. The rest is self-explanatory!
You can use cars, houses, winter animals, other winter toys to put in the jar.
Christmas present ideas in a jar
This is so easy! Layer cake / cookies / cupcake dry in gradients in a jar. Top with lovely things like chocolate and nuts. Don’t forget to include a recipe inside. The recipient might need to ass oil, water and egg.
You can also use just freshly-baked cookies or marshmallows or sweets or homemade jam… and voila, you have a perfect lovely present.
Creative ideas with pine cones
I saved the pine cones from last year’s Christmas wreath. this year I want to recycle them, so here are some easy ideas. They instantly add some Christmassy cheer in the home.
Use as napkin centrepiece for table place settings or to decorate a present instead of a bow.
Simply put pine cones in a jar.
Use to surround candles and wreaths.
