Early Sunday morning I received a panicky text. My maternity session with Ankita and her little munchkin was 6 days away. But the little munchkin had chopped off her hair while Mummy was in the shower. Funny but nor funny for photos! Thankfully, an emergency trip to the hairdresser minimised any damage made.

The T family @ Canary Wharf | London Portrait Photographer
The T family requested a shoot to remember Canary Wharf by, where they have set up home, before they set off to the lush countryside. It was a windy day but the sun was out and we had some beautiful light, befitting a beautiful family.
Back to School | London Children Photographer
For a few weeks now, I’ve been thinking about this shoot. Another mini-project, with my usual models. Somehow this shoot never made it beyond being an idea. Until today.
Martin & Lynne’s Wedding @ St. Andrew’s | London Wedding Photographer
Martin and Lynne’s wedding was very special. Not only because they are such an amazing young couple, but also because it means a lot to me too – personally. I have known Lynne and her family for 12 years when Lynne and her three brothers {each well over 6ft tall} were at that time only small children and a whole lot shorter than me!

It might have been the perfect venue for a summer photo-shoot, except that on the day itself, it didn’t just rain, it poured. But we didn’t let this dampen our excitement!

Facing my fears at London Zoo: High ISO and BBF | London Portrait Photographer
I’ve already said it in a couple of previous blog posts and I say it again: I have a fear of unwanted noise. So I keep my ISO down and suffer in other areas such as focus or light.
