I first met C when I photographed an event at her Church. She’s struck me as a gracious and beautiful girl, both inside and out. When we walked into the venue, we were greeted by a handsome young man – L.

To date, this is one of the most stunning locations I have ever shot a wedding in. Syon Park is a bride’s dream. Amazing to think that it has been and still is the home of the Duke of Northumberland for over 400 years.
The T family requested a shoot to remember Canary Wharf by, where they have set up home, before they set off to the lush countryside. It was a windy day but the sun was out and we had some beautiful light, befitting a beautiful family.
For a few weeks now, I’ve been thinking about this shoot. Another mini-project, with my usual models. Somehow this shoot never made it beyond being an idea. Until today.
Martin and Lynne’s wedding was very special. Not only because they are such an amazing young couple, but also because it means a lot to me too – personally. I have known Lynne and her family for 12 years when Lynne and her three brothers {each well over 6ft tall} were at that time only small children and a whole lot shorter than me!
As cliche as it sounds, one of the most life-changing things that can happen to a person, {imo}, is having a baby. The expecting stage is always a mixture of emotions: exciting, daunting, special.
Such a special little girl. So hoped for, so wanted, so loved. Now she is here. At 9 days young.
Ah what’s sweeter than the smell of newborns… Here’s beautiful baby Z with her adorable big brother and doting parents…
More on the lovely Tuckers, this time, the second part of the shoot – fun, casual, energetic, lifestyle…
When I first met these adorable twinsies, they fit in one Moses basket. Now at a whopping whole ONE year old, it’s a job trying to catch them! Two energetic crawlers, cruisers, walkers. Happy birthday H & M!
For nearly a year now, Thursday has become a special day. It breaks the punishing school run rush, the constant looking at the clock, the mundane chores, the one too many un-home-made lunches and generally the busy-ness of life as a ‘mum of three’ ‘wife to one’ me.
I have not been in front of the camera for what feels like forever. The camera seems to prefer me to be behind it rather than in front of it. I cannot agree with the camera more – it must be said!
Welcome back me, to my blog! I am soooo behind with blogging. It’s been a busy summer and I have sessions both to blog and never to blog! Plus photos of my family’s little breaks here and there and days out – it’s the summer holidays after all. I needed a mini-project for myself to keep inspiration and freshness up for the next hectic months.
Since I started getting paid to take photos, both friends and my website have always acted as my ‘agents’. My clients contact me, they book me, we meet, I take the photos. Always. Until now.
One word. Awesome.
{awesome couple + awesome place = awesome photos}
It’s nothing big. But it’s my first. And it’s a photo of my son.
It might have been the perfect venue for a summer photo-shoot, except that on the day itself, it didn’t just rain, it poured. But we didn’t let this dampen our excitement!
I’m so excited to start my first project with Tower Hamlets NCT this Saturday 16th July. It’s a special mini-session themed “Summer Tea Party” styled with a touch of vintage. Bring on the buntings, home-made cakes, refreshing drinks and special goodies! It’ll be fun-tastic!
There’s something about living next to water, be it the sea, a canal, the docks… It’s so calming, so peaceful.
A stunning family in a stunning location. A perfect combination.
