The little girl was such a darling to photograph – she loved posing and working the camera. The little boy on the other hand could not be more different; he worked the camera alright, with a grumpy face pretty much the entire time. Ah, but I caught him smiling in two shots and that was just wonderful!
My biggest photoshoot to date: a clan of 22 people – 11 children 11 adults! – London Portrait Photographer
Where do I begin? 22 people which include 11 kids all under the age of 6! I reckon the best place to start is with the head of the clan…. no doubt the calmest and most gentle grandparents to 11 small children I have ever met! We were all in one big room and the kids were running around, clambering over sofas and chairs, rolling on the floor. But it didn’t feel stressful or noisy for some reason. It felt as if life just carried on; it was normal. I … Continue reading My biggest photoshoot to date: a clan of 22 people – 11 children 11 adults! – London Portrait Photographer

A family of boys and their lovely mummy / London Portrait Photographer
These boys sleep, dream, and breathe Star Wars! Well, perhaps not the baby yet, but judging from the headstands, jedi moves, and light sabre fights, it won’t be long before little babe joins the fun!
Playing with photoshop: faking a seamless shoot and trying ps overlays / London Portrait Photographer
I’m interrupting my scheduled catch-up blogs with a mini-session of my kids I did just yesterday. I’ve recently swapped some gear for a 50mm 1.4 and a 35mm 1.8 and I’m trying them out. Here are the results.

The twins are starting to roll over, and crawl, and cruise! J & A at 10 months!
It wasn’t long ago that I got to photograph these adorable twins when they were only 5 and 6 pound tiny little bundles!

My Mum and my kids
My kids ADORE my mum, and she adores them. Whenever my mum comes, it’s guaranteed you will hears plenty of laughter in the house. For some reason, my mum makes them laugh. She has her own ways of entertaining them with her stories and jokes and they love it when she tries and teach them words in Cebuano. All my kids are quite shy and have been relatively clingy when they were little. But all three of them have immediately warmed to my mum – their Nanny, from day 1 … Continue reading My Mum and my kids

Fun photos in the woods: experimenting with PS actions
This year we went camping for the first time as a family in our very own, very local Epping Forest. I decided to take the old D40 with the 55-200mm f4-5.6 lens in case things got nicked whilst at camp.
